School is OUT!

School is out, Christmas is coming, my oldest boy made it to the Honor roll, my husband is coming home from HK tonight, I'm blessed in so many way...

"BKE" is the name of highway that I use to get to my boys school, As I was driving today, I felt like I was driving a highway in Long Island, NY! Bright green trees and jungles. 

Anyway, as I type this blog, The loudest thunders and bucket pouring rain started...
Yes, we live in a jungle!

What a bummer! 
We felt really strange at first when our non-church den started to talk to the boys about "When it is appropriate to drink alcohol and when it isn't..."
Apparently, it is appropriate to drink after a funeral but not OK at school parties....
Anyway, we are hanging on!

My Morning Shop

 Today, I started by going to Wet market. It's about 10 min. drive from our condo. 

Boys school bus comes at 6:50 so I was already at the market by 7.
It's time for Porridge!!
What a great way to start a day!!

Make sure your Hawker of your choice is ranked "A" to avoid stomach problems...

 and after my breakfast, I started my shopping for groceries. 
YES, There are regular super markets here too but nothing beats the freshness of wet markets!
